What a Grand Opening!

Yesterday, the new Multi Use Court was officially opened yesterday by 

Ben Robinson MBE (Honary Chairman Burton Albion), Dave Robertson (MP for Lichfield)  and Wenda Leslie (HS2  Senior Engagement Manager).

We would like to give huge thanks to Julie Wheeldon, Susan Mayman, Ollie Crooks and Scott Taylor.

Thank you to all the volunteers on the day especially Terry Bailey, Chris Adams, Tim and Sara Howell, Dawn Clay and Ella Hall.

We are hugely grateful to everyone who donated to the Crowdfund and to HS2 and Sport England.

We would like to thank the netballers, footballers and everyone who played sport yesterday, it was so gratifying to see the grounds being used as we imagined.

And to our Chairman at ABSA, Chris Wood who works tirelessly, mostly behind the scenes and keeps us all going. Chris thanks everyone else - we want to thank Chris too. Thank you Chris, this would not have happened without you.
