The Vision
The Vision
The new sports ground as it is envisaged will be a total community facility for all ages, male and female no matter what their chosen sport is and no matter what standard of play they wish to achieve. Everyone will be made welcome !!
At this stage junior and senior football clubs have been catered for and junior and senior cricket similarly but this is by no means the limit to the aspirations we have. For instance, a suggestion has been made that the Pavilion could be used as a centre for Table Tennis, this is being taken seriously and the incorporation of this is being taken into future plans. Netball and Tennis is another priority and we will work towards it’s provision in the future.

Support Grassroots Sport in Abbots Bromley
Abbots Bromley Sports Association Grounds are used by cricket, football, netball, hockey, kids' sports camps, youth clubs and other sports throughout the year, across all ages.
We're offering local businesses and supporters the chance to sponsor a board on the court's perimeter fencing — a simple, highly visible way to support the Association while helping fund the maintenance of our grounds and facilities.
Sponsorship income goes directly towards keeping the grounds in good condition and towards activities that bring people together — encouraging children and older residents to stay active, and helping to reduce social exclusion and loneliness across our community.
Our new covered outdoor bar area will also encourage more people to come to the grounds, and will help us host bigger events — from major sporting occasions such as Rugby Internationals to sports training sessions and educational activities — bringing even more visitors, and even more visibility for your sponsorship, to the Association.
The Sponsorship Board
Each sponsorship board measures 1.2m x 0.6m and is mounted on the MUGA's perimeter fencing, fully visible to everyone using or passing the court — players, spectators, parents and the wider Association membership.
