The Vision
The Vision

The new sports ground as it is envisaged will be a total community facility for all ages, male and female no matter what their chosen sport is and no matter what standard of play they wish to achieve. Everyone will be made welcome !!
At this stage junior and senior football clubs have been catered for and junior and senior cricket similarly but this is by no means the limit to the aspirations we have. For instance, a suggestion has been made that the Pavilion could be used as a centre for Table Tennis, this is being taken seriously and the incorporation of this is being taken into future plans. Netball and Tennis is another priority and we will work towards it’s provision in the future.

ABSA Fest 2025 - Gallery Page
Thank you to everyone that attended ABSA Fest 2025, despite the very threatening dark clouds that can be seen on these pictures the majority of the rain stayed away and a fantastic time was had by all. Thank you to the wonderful Abbots Bromley and surrounding community that comes out to support these events, you really do make these events what they are!
The bands this year were exceptional thank you for keeping our crowds going and dancing long into the evening - Pyramid, Dean Clinton, Radio Murphy, The Viz, Duck Down Duvets and Jitterbug Band.
Additionally thank you to our fantastically generous sponsors Allports Group, Berwick Partners, Tandom and CVBC again, we couldn't do it without you and the support of Friel Homes. Thank you to all of the local businesses who supported our raffle with some amazing prizes and to all of the volunteers who support the ABSA Trustees to put on and run this event - its a big undertaking but with your help it lightens the load! And to SP Green for their repeated generosity in providing a diamond for our fundraising Diamond & Bubbles. Also to all of the food vendors and stall holders thank you for continuing to show up and provide such quality food, cakes and face painting to our audience.
We are thrilled to announce that this years' event raised a whopping £14.6k which will be reinvested into the grounds, going towards the new clubhouse facilities and the general maintenance and upkeep of the grounds.
We hope you enjoy these pictures of the event (taken by the fantastic Craig Burley - big thanks!) if you have any issues with your picture being published on here please use the contact form on the site to ask for the picture to be removed.
