The new sports ground as it is envisaged will be a total community facility for all ages, male and female no matter what their chosen sport is and no matter what standard of play they wish to achieve. Everyone will be made welcome !!
At this stage junior and senior football clubs have been catered for and junior and senior cricket similarly but this is by no means the limit to the aspirations we have. For instance, a suggestion has been made that the Pavilion could be used as a centre for Table Tennis, this is being taken seriously and the incorporation of this is being taken into future plans. Netball and Tennis is another priority and we will work towards it’s provision in the future.

Abbots Bromley Netball Club
Abbots Bromley Netball Club is a community group affiliated to England Netball with a Bronze CAPS status through the Sport England Clubmark scheme, which was achieved in 2017. Our aim is to offer keen netballers the opportunity to improve their game and play regular matches in a sociable and friendly environment.
ABNC have a group of around 30 ladies spilt into 3 squads (AB Fire, Flames and Sparks), ranging from 13 years to 50 plus, all of whom train on a weekly basis during term time, and play matches throughout the year in the Burton and District league. In addition, ABNC has a squad of current year 7’s girls (AB Fawns) who play, also training weekly and competing in the Stafford and Stoke league. Our coach is level 2 qualified, with a wealth of experience on and off the court.
ABNC has celebrated numerous successful division wins in the Burton and District league and the juniors were recently runner up in the Stafford and Stoke summer season. In addition, we have players who have been selected to represent their county and regional level teams. We have also supported many students with the Physical Education element to the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.
